The COBRA 72M is a compact and rugged 72-cue firing module that functions universally with the 18R and 18R2 Controller.

Each firing module has four independent banks (A, B, C, & D) that can be set to one of 100 unique channels (200 on firmware 6.0.0 or higher) by pressing the + and - buttons on the module. For example, bank A can be set to channel 1, bank B can be set to channel 2, bank C can be set to channel 3, and bank D can be set to channel 4. Each bank's cues are accessible on the pre-installed Quickplug Pro-Adapt Plate. Bank A's cues are located on the upper left, bank B's cues are on the upper right, bank C's are on the lower left, and bank D's are on the lower right. Using the 18R or 18R2 Controller channel controls, you can fire any banks on the same channel. You can fire unlimited modules at the exact same time by setting them to the same channel.

The 72M also boasts a backlit LCD screen, standard built-in rechargeable LiPo battery, support for replaceable 9V batteries, and support for 12-24V external power.

Using Pro-Adapt Plate technology, the 72M offers a truly connection agnostic design. The 72M simply plugs securely into the 4 x 18S Pro-Adapt Plate or large Pro-Adapt Plate. The same 72M can be used with any of the COBRA Pro-Adapt Plates.

This version comes with a pre-installed Quickplug Pro-Adapt plate for easy on-site wiring. If the optional large armored case is purcahased, it includes four 18S and two 36S slat connectors. For more information on quickplugs, please watch our Quickplugs video.
