Receiving Your Freight

Inspect before you sign.

The freight delivery receipt is important. Count the shipment and inspect visible condition while the driver is still present whenever possible.

Visible damage or shortages should be written clearly on the delivery paperwork before signing.

  • Count pallets and cartons before accepting delivery
  • Photograph the shipment from multiple angles
  • Inspect shrink wrap, corners and carton condition
  • Write visible damage or shortages on the receipt
  • Keep a photo or copy of the signed paperwork
  • Retain packaging until any issue is reviewed
Severe damage: If fireworks are exposed, leaking or appear unsafe, do not handle or move the affected product. Keep flames, sparks, heat, vehicles and unnecessary people away and contact Elevated Fireworks™ for direction.

The shipping document associated with the freight shipment.

At Destination Terminal

The freight has reached the local carrier terminal but may not yet be scheduled for final delivery.

Appointment Pending

The carrier may be waiting to speak with the receiver before dispatching the truck.

Out For Delivery

The shipment has been dispatched for final delivery based on the carrier's schedule.
