El 18M es un módulo de disparo compacto y robusto de 18 detonadores que funciona universalmente con los controladores 18R y 18R2, y es perfecto tanto para interiores como para entornos exteriores hostiles. Cada detonador es capaz de disparar hasta 8 encendedores electrónicos conectados en serie, o 5 encendedores electrónicos conectados en paralelo, o 2 encendedores de clip conectados en paralelo por detonador.
Cada módulo de disparo se puede configurar en uno de 100 canales únicos (200 canales únicos en firmware 6.0.0 o superior) simplemente presionando los botones + y - en el módulo. Luego, usando los controles de canal del controlador 18R o 18R2, puede disparar cualquier módulo en el mismo canal. Puede disparar un número ilimitado de módulos exactamente al mismo tiempo configurándolos en el mismo canal.
